Welcome to my blog, Pugnacious P...tales of Payton the Pug! My parents say I was a miracle and the toughest creature they’ve ever met. Despite being diagnosed with Pug Dog Encephalitis (PDE), I lived a wonderful life. Read more in the "My PDE Story" page in the green banner just below. I hope you enjoy reading about my adventurous life! Love, Angel Payton
Awww Payton you are soooooo Ssssstretchy! I love the photo of your big yawn! You look so cute and you yawn so big - you almost ate me! Hee,Hee! Its nice to have a good stretch to feel awake and ready ..... for another sleep! Ha,Ha! Love and Phugs Frank xxxxxxx
Eeeeeeehehe! SO CUTE! Does she make a loud exaggerated yawn noise too? I love how pugs have to let you know exactly what they are doing at all times. :) Such clowns.
Payton you are so cute! Good thing you kept your blankies close by, after all the stretching I am sure you are ready for another nap. Stretching can be exhausting.
You should be teaching a class, Payton! You're an expert at stretching! And, yes, the blankets close by are a good thing - just in case there's a sudden attack of the snoozies!
Hi Payton After seeing all your stretchies,, you make me feel like I want to do the Stretcherson too! Now I want to YAWN just like you. Gosh your stetchies are so ballerina like.. your like a tiny dancer! love tweedles
I had to do some stretches after seeing all those glorious stretching poses, Payton. Stretches are sorta contagious - like yawns. Once you see someone else doing it, you almost involuntarily do it yourself.
I especially like the first one where you are stretching and yawning at the same time. Like 2PugsInAPod mentioned, I always let out a loud, exaggerated yawn noise. I think the yawns are more effective that way.
It also looks like you like to kick up and extend your back legs, too. Ahhh, that feels good!
Wooooh-weeee, those looked like some excellent stretches! My favorite time to stretch is when I make Mom lift me in to bed at night. Don't get me wrong, I can totally jump up on the bed on my own. But I like our little ritual where she sits down, I stare at her, she reaches down to pick me up, and then I do a biiiig butt in the air stretch and allow her to hoist me on to the bed. Sometimes she groans like I am SOOOOO heavy. But I know she doesn't mean it.
