Flashback Friday...thankful for Thanksgiving

I can't believe that next week is Thanksgiving.  I also can't wait!

Can you find me in this scanned photo from 2006?
Since I'm on a grain free and poultry free diet, I won't get to partake in the turkey, but mom promises to give me some fresh green beans and sweet potato casserole.

In the spirit of Thanksgiving I thought I would share all of the things that I am thankful for this year.
  • My health.  I'm still kickin' some PDE butt and just told the c-word where to go!
  • Family.  I love my mom, dad, Gammy, and Gampy so much.
  • Starting this blog.  It has afforded me the opportunity to reach out and help others.  I've now met 5 pugs (and their peeps) who are struggling with PDE but have been encouraged by my story.
  • You!  I am so grateful to have landed in the most wonderful group of bloggers.  So many great friends!
  • Treats and toys.  Enough said.
How have you been blessed this year?

Love,
Payton

In Poland we don't have Thanksgiving, but I'm thankful, that my Gammy is still with me (she is 88), and my pug babies are fine, even poor Fredzik is ok after his ear's problems, I'm happy that no one was hurt in my 2 car's accidents , and because of them I spent the whole summer on bicycle :) and especially I'm thankful for all the goods friends I have, and for my sweet Payton :)

We've been blessed so much this past year. Mom and dad found jobs, we bought a house, and have made any new friends in bloggerville.

Dearest Payton,
This is Bailey and Hazel at the pugranch in Idaho and we are especially grateful that we found Puglet's blog which led us to your blog!! Our hu-mom loves to read your blog and we feel like we have new pug friends. She found your blog a couple of months ago, about the same time she was told she had the dreaded C-word. Your strength inspires her to be strong. And also makes her smile. We are also really thankful that mom's outlook is excellent as the C-word was found very early. Hope all of you in our new blog world have a wonderful Thanksgiving. Thank you for giving our Hu-Mom reasons to smile!!
