Winter Walk 2

Yep, I have a feeling we are going to pay for so many mild days in the middle of what is supposed to be winter.  But I guess that's out of my control so I will keep enjoying them.  You may remember my earlier winter walk.  I was eager to get going.  Well, on the second one a few days later, I was impatiently waiting for mom [again] to lock up and get her butt going!

Once we finally headed out, I decided to take the same route.  I decide these things of course.

Sorry for all of the pictures of my behind, but I was leaving mom in the dust so this is almost the only angle she could get.  Plus, I think she obsesses over my bouncy ears.  At any rate, a girl could really go for a modesty bar, if you know what I mean.  I know Suki's mom knows about such things, MOM!

I stopped at the same corner as last time to check things out.  Someone's got to keep an eye on things in the neighborhood after all.

When we got home, I let my mom know how much I enjoyed the long walk with kisses and tail wags on the couch.

Sometimes you have to give the peeps a bone, you know?  I hope you all get to go for a walk soon.

Thanks for taking us along on your walk. Make sure and bring that beautiful sunshine with you to Texas. said...

Hiya Payton! Like you, when I go for walks it's strictly business. I'm there to investigate and to patrol. That is our job which we take very seriously. That is why we must be the ones in control of the route - the humans have no idea of the complicated and important job we are undertaking.

Congrats on getting your human to understand that you're the one in charge. It's a shame that we always need to bring the humans on our patrols (although we do need someone to pick up the poop).

Hi Payton
What a wonderful walk. I love mild days where I can walk and walk with my Mommys. We actually get a lot of those in CA. Lucky us, I know.

Your rear end is also cute :) hee hee.
Jealous that you get to go for these fun walks. Bit chilly still and icy here. I heard it will warm up big time next few days, then humans don't want to go for a walk, it gets too wet and eeeeeky. Well, Spring can come early this year, I approve early arrival....

Way cool walk Payton! And I think the la nina is causing the mild winter temps. I do think we'll probably pay by having more insects this summer.

We love walks too. We just moved into a new house where we got this great yard which is great. However, now the humans never want to take us for a walk anymore. Maybe when the weather gets warmer they will get off their lazy butts and take us for a walk. But we are happy for you...really...

We love walks, too! Mom and Dad took us last night. It was windy but we didn't care. It is almost 6:30 am and it's already 50 today so mama said we get to play outside today. We are so happy! Love Zoe, Peyton, Webster & Liberty
