Gampy to the rescue

In general, I'm a calm pug, but I love adventures as you all can tell from my busy holiday.  So when mom got sick for 2 weeks right after we got back from vacation at the beginning of January, I quickly got bored.  Then add all of the grey and icky winter weather, and I came down with a major case of cabin fever.  Luckily my Gampy felt my pain and stopped by to whisk mom and I up for a quick drive to St. Louis...destination, the Missouri Baking Company!  It sounds better than it was because I can't eat anything from the bakery since going grain-free, but I was so excited to be in the car.

Don't worry, mom did bring some mango treats for me, so it was all good.  Well, except for being in the back seat.  Before you watch the video, my mom wants to apologize for the shaky camera work, but that part of the interstate was too bumpy!

Can you believe that Gampy didn't give in to any of my pleas?!?  I know!  I hope that he picks me up again soon for another adventure, but maybe next time we'll go somewhere I can eat the offerings!  Hope you have a fun weekend!

Love,
Payton

Ah hahahaha Payton, your ride looks like mine, except me in the passenger side is missing. Dad has to sit in the back with Brigitte, and she still cries, just like you, to get in the driver seat!

Doesn't Gampy know that you simply NEED to be in his lap because you love him so much?

Your gampy is great! Ours live so far way - one in Indianapolis and the other one south of there ... but it takes a couple of hours in the car to get to either one of them. We get to see them more when it's warmer. Love Zoe, Peyton, Webster & Liberty

You are pawsome Gampy, Payton. Neko sits on Papa's lap while he drives, I know it's a big No No... but he lets Neko do so - Mama screams at Papa, but he doesn't care.

I sit on Mama's lap shaking whole way, I hate car ride.... : (

Payton, are you sure that was Gampy driving the car?! I can't believe he was able to turn a deaf ear to his little grand-pug's pleadings! I think maybe he got a stern warning from your momma that you need to stay in the back seat. I bet if your momma wasn't there Gampy'd let you ride right up front on his lap. The 'rents are always ready to put a damper on our fun. Humph.

Sid.

I'm "ditto"-ing Sid comment all the way!!!
I can NOT BELIEVE GAMPY TURNED A DEF EAR to your sweet little pleas.

I'm sorry payton. I can't say I know what it is like, I sit in the front seat ALL the time!

Mom does that to us all the time, too! Something about safety, blah, blah, blah. Tallulah is very sympathetic to you and cried along with your video!

Payton that was some of the most pitiful pleading I have ever heard. My heart was breaking for you, with your world all turned upside down and all by not getting to ride in the front with Gampy. I even cried right along with you while Mom was watching this.

Hi Payton
Even thought your pittiful crys did not change Grampys mind- I am sure you were sneaked treats every now and then!
I am going to try to make noises like you- instead of my frantic barking!

Oh, you didn't like riding at the back? You sound like a cute shaky whistle.

Anyway, how was the trip? Did you enjoy it?
