Cone the Destroyer

After my nickname post last week, I thought I'd take the opportunity to show you why at least one of my nicknames are fitting.  Since I'll be going on a grain free diet soon, my mom bought me an old fashioned cake cone one last time.

Break...break...
Does anyone else know what those are by that name?  Every time I used to ask for one, those teenie-boppers at the ice cream stores just look at me like, Huh?  So I started asking for the plain, non-pointy cone to differentiate from the sugar cones.  Thanks for listening to my rant.  Christy
Now back to your regularly scheduled post...

I LOVE these things (whatever the official name is) and show no restraint when they are near my face.  Hence my nickname Cone the Destroyer!  And then to make my special treat even better, my mom made me an awesome no-cream recipe that the Daily Puglet posted last Monday (Memorial Day).  Well, except for the bacon.  She claims we didn't have any, but I'm not so sure I'm buying it.

As you can see, this thing never stood a chance with Cone the Destroyer!  Nom...nom...nom!  I can still taste it...so yummy!

Love,
Payton

Those are my mom's favorite kind of cone, too. You look like you're enjoying the heck out of your treat.

Your mom needs to make a grain-free batter, and make waffle cones for you.

OMD Payton you really attacked that!!!! Did you get a brain freeze?????
I act all crazy like when I am lucky enough to get frozen yogurt but then I reel a little from the severe brain chill!

Payton, you *devoured* that cone! Your tongue is just a blur. Sid is very jealous and wants to know when he'll get an ice cream cone. I love how it was served to you on a dainty little plate as if you might just have wee nibble or use a knife and fork. :)

P.S. I always called those "kiddie" cones but always opted for the waffle cones myself.

Girl, you totally destroyed that cone. Nick name justified!

Wow that looked good, Payton! I love the puganticipation with your tongue out and the cone just out of reach!

I have no idea what those cones are called but they are delicious. I must get Momma to make the no-cream stuff for me because I think I am the only pug in the world that hasn't had it.

You are definitely the cone destroyer. Rock on!

Hi Payton! Thank you for visiting our blog (and for your prayers for our friend Pippa)! We are excited to read your blog and are so happy that you are thriving with your PDE! We didn't know that was possible so we are really interested to read more about it. PS I'm on a grain free diet too b/c I tend to get too pudgy. ;)

Later new friend!
Vito (and Mom too!)

Payton, I am totally drooling that looks so delicious. Mum is laughing cuz you do that "eyes bugging outta head" look that I do when I see food.

Oh Mum says that unfortunately the building in the picture with the canuck flag is a parliment building and not her works. She does have a flag outside her works but her buidling is a 2 story boring job nothing likes the one in the picture.
